Tips to Get The Most From Your Day at Discovery Cove

Tips to get the most out of your trip to Discovery Cove

1.  Especially for peak times such as summer and holidays, make your reservations at least 30 days before your trip. At busy times of the year it may be difficult to get the day you want without planning ahead.

2.  Start your with the activity you most want to do. It is easy to use your time in the park floating down the lazy river, but then wish you had more time for snorkeling when the day comes to a close.

Not-To-Be-Missed Attractions at Discovery Cove Orlando

While there is much to do and see at this park, here is our countdown of must-do's at Discovery Cove Orlando.

1.  Dolphin Swim Experience - For many this is the highlight of their time at Discovery Cove, and often of their entire Orlando trip. Participants get a 30 minute interactive session in the water with bottlenose dolphins. The experience is a group activity, with one trainer and about 6-8 guests per group. You must be 6 years of age or older to participate in this activity.

Tip: A photographer will be taking photos of your experiences throughout the day with good quality photos. The CD’s can be expensive to purchase, but you can split the cost with others in your group.
